In current post since 2016. My career started with a JRF at Balliol (1989-92). Between that and my current job, I taught at Keele University (1992-93), the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor (1993-98), University College, Oxford (1998-2005), Birkbeck College, London (2005-2013), and the University of Birmingham (2013-16).
