My main research interests are in the philosophy of mind, Immanuel Kant's theoretical philosophy, and the writings of Iris Murdoch. I recently held a British Academy Mid-Career Fellowship for a project on self-consciousness and objectivity and a book based on the project is under contract with Oxford University Press. I am editing the Oxford Handbook to Kant which is forthcoming with Oxford University Press.

I teach a wide range of undergraduate papers in tutorials, including 102: Knowledge and Reality, 103: Ethics, 104: Philosophy of Mind, and 112: Philosophy of Kant. I provide the Faculty lectures for 112: The Philosophy of Kant. I supervise graduate students on the BPhil and DPhil for topics in the Philosophy of Mind, Kant’s theoretical philosophy, and Iris Murdoch.
